Summary
I
am working as a research associate at UnHuman Productions and I have
special interest in fields of Knowledge Engineering, Artificial
Intelligence, Data Mining and Semantic Web. This exciting world of
computing astonishes me to a remarkable extent; having a mathematical
mind since childhood I have found Computer Science one of the most
intriguing fields where Maths can do great wonders. I aspire to become
a great computer science researcher and wish to make a contribution in
this field in a positive way.
Education
- BS (Computer Science)University of Karachi,Pakistan with the CGPA of 3.92 on a scale of 4.0 with 1st position in 2007 batch(Graduated in December 2007).
- Intermediate from Jauhar College of Information Technology and Management Sciences (Pre-Engg),Pakistan with 76% marks (2003).
- O-levels from Beacon Light Academy with eight A grades and four High Achievers in the region (2001).

Employment
- Currently working as Software Engineer at Technology Orbit and working on Web 2.0 technologies (November 2007-present).
- Working as a Research Associate at UnHuman Productions, a private sector-based R&D organization committed to do research in Computer Science (January 2007-present).

- Operating Systems: Linux, Microsoft Windows Family OS.
- Programming Languages: C,C++, Assembly, C#,QT Development on Linux Platform.
- Web 2.0 Technologies: PHP, DreamWeaver, Flash CS3 with ActionScript 3.0 and ActionScript 2.0, JavaScript, Adobe AIR, Adobe Flex.
- Database Design and Development: mySQL, SQL Server, MS Access.
Projects
- Image SemSearch: Initially a brainchild of mine and my project partner Muhammad Atif Qureshi but then taken under UNHP; it is a search engine which is based on ontology-driven principles leading to a semantic-based searching mechanism for images.
- Markov Chain Based Self-Healing Technology.
- Involved in Security Plus version 5.
- Auditor's Book which was a part of PAL Financial Accounting Release.
